    Is the current windows update bugged? [WD Blue SN580 2TB issue]


    I keep getting a notification about windows 11 update version 24H2 But I'm unable to install it. It keeps giving me an error saying my NVMe disk isnt "ready for this version of windows." I am on windows 11 and my NVMe disk is a WD blue sn580 2tb. It has the latest drivers and everything.. I tried just ignoring the update but it continues to notify me about it. Is this a bug with the windows update or is it on western digitals side? If its neither do I have to replace the NVMe?

    WD Purple or Blue?

    My suggestion, avoid the Blues at all costs. I wouldn't trust my data on a WD Blue if WD was paying me to use it.
