Windows 10: Is the hard disk causing the problem or operating system is old?

actually my hard disk got damaged so i got it replaced with new hard disk Aver-tek sata hard drive 500gb and along with that techie solid state drive256 gb but the shopkeeper actually installed windows 7. so i am trying to convert it into windows 10 using iso file it shows error as "Since on old windows 7 had a disc error which Windows can't read a disc which error contained: This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification." but my hard disk is completely new. so what could be the problem. i have chang

Remove spare hard disk as system disk

There's a possibility that your HDD was detected as OS drive during the Windows installation. To remove your HDD as system disk, we suggest reformatting it. To do so, please follow the steps below:

• Open Disk Management.
• Right-click on your HDD, then select Format.
• On the Format windows, type your preferred Volume label,
  File system (NTFS is recommended), Allocation unit size (leave as Default).
• Check the Perform a quick format option, then click
  OK.

Note: Please back up your files before reformatting the drive.

hard disk drive problem

i have a western digital 120 gb ide hard drive ( there was still 25 gb free space ) and everything was running fine until i decided to update windows xp home edition service pack 1 to service pack 2. I updated the windows and after the updating was done it asked me to restart the computer so i restarted the computer and it was normal then the windows would not start up. i turned off the computer and then turned it back on, everything gets on normally but it gets stock at where it says windows xp, it just stays there forever therefore i dont get to my desktop. Any idea what might be causing the problem?

I have an old hard disk drive which im not using and it has 10 gb space. Can i plug it to my system and run the windows from that and still be able use my other hard disk too so i can uninstall the service pack 2 from my hard disk.

Whenever I am starting my laptop below message is displaying

“boot device not found, operating system not installed, hard disk 3F0, press F2 system diagnostics

I can’t installed my windows on hard disk, any windows not getting boot after starting



After checking my hard disk for quick check following error displayed

hard drive Smart check- FAILED & failure id- QCXTH1-6KW601-MFPX1A-960EV03



please suggest for hard disk fixing. I already recovered my data by removing hard disk and attached with pc as USB
