Windows 10: Is the Reading Pane no longer available for Mail and Calendar for Windows 10? Within...

I am trying to use Mail and Calendar for Windows 10 but there doesn't seem to be a way to enable the Reading Pane even though there is a Reading Pane option under settings. My Windows 10 version is up to date.

Hiding or turning off the reading pane in Windows 10 Mail app is not possible. You can submit a suggestion or feedback about having this feature. Click the Gear icon in Mail app to open Settings > Feedback.

My Name is Paul one of the Community Advisor and a Windows User like you and I will going to help you how to disable your Windows Mail Reading Pane or Preview Pane.

Steps:

* Open Windows Mail.

* In the Lower left clear the GEAR ICON for SETTINGS.

* Click READING

* In the Conversation section, click the “Show preview text” slider button so it turns light gray and reads Off.

* Now, you won’t see the first line of text on every email in the list.
