Windows 10: Is the Windows 11 update buggy, or is it just my computer?

Hello,Recently, I've updated Windows 11 and I'm running into issues. First of which, my settings app keeps crashing, and I've tried running an anti-virus software, and that proved to be of no use. I also have restarted my PC multiple times, and that still didn't fix the problem entirely. My settings app whenever I try to open it, crashes and then makes Windows not usable. It's getting really annoying, and it's getting in the way of my schoolwork. I still have no idea if it's just my computer, because my drivers have been updated, and the other stuff whatnot. Does anyone have a solution? It wou

Windows 11 problems

Fixed the problem.

1) When update was stuck at 69% I gave up, restarted the laptop. But I got the option update and restart. That fixed the update. And computer speed improved.

2) But even then Windows defender was opening, and it kept asking me for an app to open it. So followed these steps:

C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0

• Open PowerShell by using Administrator rights
  
• Copy and paste Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage to the PowerShell window and press enter
  
• Close the PowerShell and retry
  

Then windows defender started working. Windows 11 is buggy as hell!

Device manager -> Right click the device -> Update driver -> Browse my computer for driver software -> Let me pick from a list of variable drivers on my computer

In the list you can choose which driver windows will use. Hopefully the list contains more than the buggy one.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
