Windows 10: Is the Winget command

Discus and support Is the Winget command in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; "Winget upgrade --all", a safe command to run?     winget upgrade command error

    I keep getting the following error message when try to use winget ugprade trying researching the error but no luck : "Failed when searching source: winget An unexpected error occurred while executing the command: 0x8a15000f : Data required by the source is missing"

    Specifically, something related to this:

    1. The App Installer did not automatically add the PATH environment variable. You should add the path environment variable. The value to add is "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps". You can verify this by running %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\WindowsApps\winget from a command-prompt or & "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\Microsoft\WindowsApps\winget" from a powershell. If the command runs then, but not before, then you very likely have a missing PATH environment component.
