    Okay so I remember when I had microsoft word and excel it gave me this really cool feature that allows me to search for word context inside files without actually opening it. It goes like thisMore particularly this was useful for me when I'm examining my discord data in the messages folder which contains all messages I ever sent on discord and sometimes I would use my data to reconnect with people I lost contact with. Now right now I have about almost 5,000 files now if I have microsoft excel then it would show up as messages.csv and automatically clicking any message.csv file would open up ex

    CSV files used to open in Excel....not now!

    Hi, you say Excel is installed. Does it run normally?

    You can't find Excel in (an unspecified) list of applications. I don't know which list that is for sure.

    For example, in the list related to:
    - rt click a file. Open With
    - this list:

    - some other list...

    If Excel does not appear in the above, I suggest you repair your office installation.

    Maybe the above gives you some ideas. Otherwise please post a screenshot of where you think you should see it but don't. Thanks.

    Hi All

    Can anyone please help me in any way or suggest an answer, i've looked all ove the web and im struggling. Our company have just purchased 20 HTC Trophy 7 mobiles on my recomendation (as IT), all is working great, users are very happy with the device for
    work use. Mail is syncing to exchange happy, excel and word doc's can be changed and re-sent ok, all is going good, however one of the Directors has just come to me and said Oh by the way i receive financial files in CSV format which is automated from a third-party
    vendor but i cant open them, ive had a look at the attachment and mobile office reports there is no application associated with this file type.



    Is there any way round this, updating office, thir-party app, edditing file assocation for csv etc etc



    any suggestions would be great.

    Come on Microsoft it's time to be one step in front of everyone else, please please please update your mobile office 2010 program to be able to open CSV files after all they are only basic text filesand i'm sure it wouldnt take much to do or fix !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    microsoft word 2003

    Is it just one file, or all your word files?

    With the exception of Outlook, I have yet to find a reason to stop using Office 2000, 2003, and 2007. They open all the latest files just fine, and they work just fine.
