    Is there a bootabe tool to erase the HD?


    Hi all,due to my pc failure I had to return the machine to the manufacturer. During the various tests to identify the cause I had also to reinstall windows 10. During the clean install I clicked more than once on Format. I have 1TB SSD. The operation was quite fast, I guess it just deleted the file table or whatever is the right name of the index. Surely it did not overwrite the SSD. I hope this is enough, anyway I was wandering if Microsoft has a bootable tool which allows to erase the whole system, just in case it happens againThanks to whomever will reply

    Finally! An alternative to eraser...

    it looks much cleaner then the eraser so that is a big step up.
