    Is there a difference with Bitlocker on Windows 11 Pro, or the M3 Bitlocker Loader?


    I have Windows 11 Home and want to install Bitlocker. Every post I've seen says you must upgrade to Windows 11 Pro in order to get Bitlocker. But I've found something called M3 Bitlocker Loader available from M3 software for $19.95 "half-price.Is this Bitlocker Loader Legitimate? Is it the same thing as Bitlocker on Windows 11 Pro? Thanks.Marc Stump

    Can you take a screen shot of the bitlocker window?

    Also, what happens when you highlight the drive in This PC and go to the Manage tab? There should be some bitlocker options there.

    As you can see Drive D is no longer present in BitLocker Drive Encryption.

    When I click on this Drive under Explorer I got the option to FORMAT this Drive and when I click cancel I get the following.

    When I do Right Click on this Drive, I no longer see BitLocker option like I used to.

    Windows 8.1 PRO unable to unlock Bitlocked drive

    As you can see BitLocker Option is not highlighted for selection. It's like Windows does not even recognize this drive as a locked drive. And this drive does contain lot of Data.
