Windows 10: Is there a fix for choppy stuttering audio Chrome casting on Windows 11?

I have had no problems casting to my Chromecast device on Windows 10. I tried installing Windows 11 about 18 months ago and went back to 10 because of this issue. I work from home and use this a lot. I tried again last week hoping things have been fixed but still the same issue. Does anyone else have this issue?I have least problems on Brave browser and the most on Edge. If I do anything on my pc while casting it starts. I have 16 GB or ram.

Google Chrome Update Fixes Audio Stutter


Google Chrome Update released today fixes the audio stutter that a large number of users who have upgraded to w10 have been experiencing.

No need to use : --audio-buffer-size=8192 and forcewaveaudio

To update, go to Far right up ( Customize and Control Google Chrome ) > About Google Chrome

Latest official version is : 44.0.2403.157 m

 

Audio stuttering after wake

Knowing that you have problems with your audio after waking up from sleep, you can try the following suggestions:



1. Check for Hardware Conflicts:

• Open Device Manager.
  
• Expand the “System devices” category.
  
• Look for any devices with yellow exclamation marks or error messages.
  
• If you find any conflicts, try disabling or uninstalling the conflicting devices.
  

2. Test with External Audio Device:

• Connect an external audio device, such as headphones or speakers, to the computer.
  
• If the audio stuttering persists, it suggests a problem with the Realtek audio device or its drivers.
  

3. Disable Audio Enhancements:

• Go to Control Panel > Sound.
  
• Select the Realtek audio device as the playback device.
  
• Click on the “Properties” button.
  
• Go to the “Enhancements” tab.
  
• Uncheck all the enhancement options.
  

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Gigabyte support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or replace the audio device if necessary.

Bluetooth audio stuttering and lagging

Did all of this. No change to the unacceptable audio. Still choppy and stuttering with great consistency.
