Windows 10: Is there a fix for the media OSD turning the monitor off momentarily?

Discus and support Is there a fix for the media OSD turning the monitor off momentarily? in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I know it's a huge issue and i was able to solve it once by rerolling the title update but my windows updated again and i missed the roll back...     Is there a fix for the media OSD turning the monitor off momentarily?


    I know it's a huge issue and i was able to solve it once by rerolling the title update but my windows updated again and i missed the roll back window... Is there a fix for the media OSD turning the monitor off momentarily? :(

    Hi Robert

    This message is not form Windows, it is from the settings on your Monitor . . .

    Turn your Monitor off

    Press and hold the Menu button, which you will find on the side or bottom of your monitor, then turn on your monitor

    That should reset the OSD (On Screen Display) controls on your monitor

    If not, press the Menu button on your Monitor and look for a 'Lock OSD' setting . . .

    OSD locked.

    I pressed the menu button on monitor. Supposedly there will be a down arrow to get to OSD - not!
