Windows 10: Is there a hotkey to toggle Tablet Mode?

I want to switch between the two with a swift keystroke instead of needing to open the Action Center all the time.

How do I get back tablet mode? Problem in changing to tablet mode on Nextbook 10

Hello,

• Did you tried to turn ON the Tablet mode from Action Center?
• Do you get any error message?

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if this helps you in turning ON Tablet mode.

There are two options to turn ON the Tablet mode.

Option 1:

• Open Settings, and click/tap on the System icon.
• Click/tap on Table Mode on the left side, and turn on or off
  Enable tablet mode for what you want.

Option 2:

• Click/tap on the Action Center system icon in the taskbar notification area.
  
• At the bottom of the Action Center, click/tap on the Tablet mode button to toggle it
  on (blue) or off (gray) for what you want.

Can't toggle off Tablet Mode after turning it on.

Peter, I've at last found the answer.

• Click notifications, bottom right hand corner
• select all settings
• select "start" options on the left
• Toggle off "Use Start full screen"

AND IT WORKS. TRIED IT ON TWO SYSTEMS.

Took me more than 6 months to work this out. I am so pleased.

This is on Windows 10 1607 anniversary edition. I've only tried this since I upgraded so don't know if the method is the same on 1511 edition, but should be the same setting.

Tablet mode makes Windows more intuitive and easier to use with touch on devices. To turn off the auto rotate feature, refer to these steps:

• Put your device in Tablet mode.
• Go to Settings > System > Display.
• Look for Lock rotation of this display, then toggle it off.
