Windows 10: Is there a new Media Pack for Windows 10 N with the new update? Need WMP for gaming.

Hi guys. I recently bought a new gaming setup 2 months ago and the windows it came with was not activated by the manufacturer. This has caused a lot of problems for me trying to download and use the Windows Media Pack since some games require me to have this on my computer. To date I still haven't figured out a way to successfully install the correct one on my system, so I am here to ask for help. I am wondering, since I updated my windows today with the new 1909 update, I am wondering if a new Media Pack is required or not? Do I absolutely have to activate my windows in order to get WMP working?

My PC details are below:

Windows 10 Home N

10.0.18363 Build 18363

64 bit

I am desperate to finally have the correct media pack installed on my PC and I have no idea how to properly do it. I have tried to use the Microsoft Store download but it never seems to install the correct version for me as I get error after error saying I haven't installed the correct version. Thanks anyone for any help you can give me.

Win10 N Will not install Media pack

I am using windows 10N Insider preview and The media pack will not install. I have tried the following:

• Media Feature Pack list for Windows N editions
• Media Feature Pack for N and KN editions of Windows 10 Version 1508 - KB3010081
• Media Feature Pack for N and KN editions of Windows 10 Version 1511 - KB3010081
• Media Feature Pack for N editions of Windows 10 Version 1607 - KB3133719
• Media Feature Pack for N edition of Windows 10 Version 1703 - KB4016817
• Media Feature Pack for N edition of Windows 10 Version 1709 - KB4039813

The only one to install was the very first one. However Media player is not installed, there are no media player folders. I can add the app.

Every other version say the update is not applicable to your system. Not sure how
that's even possible. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times and nothing. No media player. Should I just assume that it does not work and will never be fixed or is there some magic that I
don't know about to get this thing working and installed correctly?

Media Feature Pack for Windows 10 Pro N

Hello,

I've installed the new Creators Update to my system and now the previously installed Media Feature Pack is missing.

Could you please tell me when the new Media Feature Pack for Windows Creators update will be released?

On this page, the latest version is for Windows 10 - Version: 1607 - Major build number:

WMP for version 1809...

My Windows 10 N, version 1803 had used Windows Media Player via installing it from the "Windows_MediaFeaturePack_x64_1803.msu" file.

Updating to 1809 removed the WMP and no longer available in the apps list:





There's an updated version listed at:

But clicking on the link and looking for the 1809 in the drop down list of versions does not show the media feature pack available for download for 1809; instead it shows version 1709 and 1803.

Does anyone have a direct link to WMP for Windows 10 N, version 1809?
