Windows 10: Is there a notifications widget?

I'm new to windows. Is there some sort of widget that I can use to turn off notifications by quick toggling? I tried looking to see if there was an option to add it to the quick actions, but I don't see anything. I hate having to go into the settings every time.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

the invasive useless pop ups for notifications on belle are maddening! Does anyone know if there a 3rd party notifications widget like the Anna style one?

Thank you for your post.

The notification widget has been replaced by the notification bar. To access this from the top of the screen just slide your finger down and this will bring up the notification bar.
