Windows 10: Is there a NumLock icon to enable somewhere on Windows 11? If not, could it be added?

I recently got a new HP laptop with Windows 11 installed which does not have any lights to indicate NumLock is enabled. I've ran into this problem multiple times already, and the Toggle Keys feature in Accessibility in the settings is very... harsh sounding and not good for quiet rooms. I tried searching online anywhere I could, but it appears no one has written or asked about enabling a NumLock popup when you press the NumLock key on your keyboard. I found a couple for only Windows 10 like this about disabling it although they couldn't figure out how to disable it and others for enabling.As

However, it did not work. There was no notification for "NumLock". Or something that I could equate to having the NumLock Icon, an up arrow with a number 1 in the middle, in order to turn it off.

In Windows 7 professional, I use to be able to go into some part of settings and turn it off and on, the same for CapLock. However, I don't know where to do that in Windows 10.

Can you offer another suggestion.

Let's have the fast startup disabled in your computer and see if that addresses the problem. To do that, follow these steps:

• Right-click the Windows icon, then click Control Panel.
• Click Power Options.
• On the left pane, click Choose what the power buttons do, then click
  Change settings that are currently unavailable.
• Uncheck Turn on fast startup (recommended).
• Click Save changes.

Once done, try to restart your computer and see if NumLock enables.
