    Is there a permanent fix for Realtek left/right balance bug Win10?


    I am using an older Asus Maximus VI motherboard with built-in sound using Realtek tech.

    Since upgrading to Windows 10 a few years ago, I have an on-going bug where my left / right balance will favour the left side. The balance is set to equal. The only workaround for this is to DISABLE all enhancements, and then restart my application having the sound balance issue.

    Sometimes Windows 10 will keep Enhancements in audio disabled, but most of the time it will reset requiring me to disable it again.

    I update my Realtek drivers almost monthly hoping one day this will be fixed.

    Any ideas? Have any of you encountered this before?

    Left/Right balance in Windows 10 resets with volume changes.

    Hi everyone,

    My audio setup currently requires a permanent left/right channel imbalance. I have found the balance menu in Windows 10, but it resets the balance every time I turn my volume to level 0, as well as every time I restart my computer. I understand that this
    is how Windows handles it, but it is really aggravating. Does anyone no a workaround to this? If not, is there a piece of software that would lock the balance in? Thanks.

    Most of bugs Windows Phone 8.1 may be solved by simply hard reset the Phone. to expect a permanent fix for the issue that you could list I would suggest you add some suggestions on related site linked here below

    Audio Balance in Windows 10

    I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check-

    • Click on Start and then control panel.
    • Open the option of Sound and in the tab of
      playback       click on the windows displaying speakers. This enables the button properties, click on it.
    • This opens new window as Speakers properties, here click on the tab
      Levels.
    • Now click on the button Balance in front of the speaker volume bar.
    • This will open another small window of Balance. Here you may adjust the balance between the left and right speakers as per requirement.
