Windows 10: Is there a permissions troubleshooter in Windows 11?

I have Windows 11 Home Edition and have a laptop that I use for personal use. I know about Computer Management and Security, and changing permissions so that I can get permission to access certain files, folders, programs and registry entries, but is there a permissions troubleshooter in Windows 11 so that both the computer and I an administrator can gain permission to access files that we may need in the future without having the computer ask for permission or getting the "Access Denied" error?

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter

No permissions

Hi,

I would suggest you to right click on the user's folder for your profile and check if the permissions shows as "read only'. If this is the case, it might be causing the issue. In this case, I would suggest you to go to C:\User folder, right click on the
folder with your username and follow these steps:

• Open the properties of the main user profile folder where the files are located (such as Documents, Pictures, etc).
  
• Go to the Security tab and click Advanced.
• Check the box at the bottom of this window. It is labeled "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object" and then click Ok.
  

This does a one-time action that replaces the security on all the files/subfolders. It’s one-time, so you won’t find that box checked if you peek at it later. Try these steps and let us know the results for further assistance.
