Windows 10: is there a plex writer dvd software driver to obtain?

We have a plex writer but need a driver to make it work. Don't know where to find it. please help.

I suggest you to check if the DVD Writer is detected and listed in Device Manager.

Method 1: Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

If the DVD Writer is not listed in the Device Manager, let us run the Hardware and Device troubleshooter.

• • Type troubleshooting in the search box on taskbar.
    
  • Click on Troubleshooting in the search results.
  • Click on Hardware and Sound and select Hardware and Devices and click on
    Next to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Update DVD-ROM drivers and check.

If the DVD Writer is listed in the Device Manager, lets Update the DVD-ROM driver.

• 
  Press Windows key + R on the Keyboard.
  
• 
  Type in devmgmt.msc and click on
  Ok.
  
• 
  Select the Graphic driver from the list by extending
  DVD/CD-ROM drivers.
  
• 
  Right click on the Graphic driver and click on
  Update driver Software.

DVD Driver/Writer Issue.

Hey there,

My notebook properties are:

Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E431.

I5 intel process

12GB RAM.

Problem is with the DVD writer.

HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GU90N

It can read all the disks such as DVD CD and etc, But it cannot write or burn anything to any type of disks. When my PC was at Windows 8.1 SL OS it could do all the stuff, but after upgrading to Windows 10 SL OS ( a fresh install ) it was only able to write
DVD not CD, then later after upgrading to creator's update ( again a fresh install ) it couldn't burn neither DVD or CD, it just reads, I have used the built in windows disk burner as well as other third party software's such as Nero burning ROM and Corel
DVD Factory, but everywhere i get error in burning process and at formatting the disk. As i know i couldn't update the DVD driver also because the device manager says it has already a best installed driver, and if I'm not wrong 2006 was the last year of this
Driver firmware update release, and also i tried to install the driver from Official Lenovo ThinkPad Forum which didn't help me. Now is this a driver issue or a writer issue, should i replace the writer or any solution is available ?.
