I have a home studio using Windows to run the DAW Digital audio workstation software. The PC only runs this software and nothing else. Any new/update software is downloaded on my home PC the one I'm using here and transferred over. Being the DAW system works fine, I don't do any updates to it's version of Windows.Although the memory and CPU usage is very low before the DAW software is loaded, it would be nice if there was any version of Windows that was more stripped down, especially without the internet features antimalware, defender, firewall, etc. and things like printer spool and suc

Let's have a poll on "Your primary Windows OS"

Let's have a poll on Your primary Windows OS:
    • Windows 10
    • Windows 7
    • Windows 8
    • Windows Vista and earlier
Why "primary Windows OS"? Some of us may have alternative OS'es installed (CentOS for me), some of us may have two or more Windows versions installed concurrently.

    Thank you!
