  1. Is there a resolution for login credentials not verified after PC comes out of sleep mode?

Good afternoon,I am encountering this issue of my login credentials can not be verified when I wake my PC out of "sleep" mode. I have gone through these steps thus far and am hoping someone has come across a solution instead of needing to do a full system install again. Will also add I need to reboot the PC to regain access.Ran automatic start up repair Came back with an error. According to logs was a bad boot sectorBooted PC in safe mode to run repairs on the sectors Successfulperformed Forceown on the NGC folderWorked for one or two sleep cyclesUninstalled latest windows updates.Upon r

  2. open the desktop from sleep mode

    Hi Abhishek,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft community.

To understand the issue better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

    • How are trying to start the computer from the sleep mode?
    • Since from when are you facing this issue?
    • Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
    • Are you able to shut down or restart the machine?
    • What happens when you try to come out of Sleep mode?
I would suggest you to force shutdown the computer and start the computer and check what happens.

If you are able to login to normal mode then follow the below steps to restore the power setting/plan to default.

    • Press Windows + X keys, and select the option
      Control Panel.
    • Click on the Power Options icon.
    • Click on Change plan settings.
    • Select the option “Restore default settings for this plan”.
Please post us back with more information and if the issues resolves to help you better.

  3. Issues coming out of sleep mode

My laptop (Thinkpad T14 AMD Gen 1) has had issues in sleep mode ever since the Windows 11 Update. Issues include:

    • Not coming out of sleep mode and I have to hold the power button to reboot
    • Locking up on the face recognition screen for 60+ seconds, then getting the blue screen of death before finally rebooting OK
    • Coming out of sleep mode having all my programs shut down
    • Not recognizing my USB mouse / keyboard coming out of sleep mode.

Any ideas? Rebooting every time and loading up all my work twice a day is very frustrating.

Issues coming out of sleep mode

Where are the results for the dozens of steps I gave you to try? The steps i gave are absolutely the fixes for Sleep Mode, starting with the display adapter upon which sleep entirely depends, and every other step I gave which you have to actually perform to know whether they help or not.

I understood that Windows doesn't come out of sleep, but that doesn't make the steps to fix sleep any different.

Then I also took the time to write out all of the fixes for Hello Face which you said wasn't working right. Did you even read them? Not a word was said about a single step, not a finger was lifted. Did you think it was going to fix itself just by asking the question?

This is an interactive process. I give steps to perform, you do each one and then report back results until something works, so I know what to suggest next. If you need help performing any step, just ask back. But please do not skip any steps. We often find out the skipped step is the fix.
