    Hi, I have a OMEN by HP 25L GT15-0xxxI realized that the current SSD just is not large enough, and HDD does not allow for some applications to run properly.Note: When doing my own research this is the information i found on my system related to this question.Expansion slots:1 PCI Express 4.0 x16 lanes1 M.2 socket 1, key A2, type 2230 for WLAN2 M.2 socket 3, key M, type 2280 one for SSD card PCIe Gen 3.0 x4There was no other socket listed, however, replacing the current SSD would potentially put the main system data at risk so I am trying to take every precaution.     M.2 slot .

    1-Is there any m.2 sata or nvme slot available in HP Pavilion AU620tx laptop?

    2-Is the DVD slot is slower than the HDD slot ? I want to add an HDD there so I don't know

    about is there any speed difference between HDD slot and DVD slot.

    Connecting Two PCs to Clone a M.2 where both PCs only have One M.2 Slot, each.

    This is my Scenario - I have Two Machines - Office PC has PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD 1TB, with WIN 10 Pro 64 bit, Programs & Data (Only One M.2 Slot) to be Cloned to the Second PC, which has a New Empty PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD 2TB, also has only one M.2 Slot (GA-Z97X - UD5H MB). HOW would you Connect the Two Machines, to perform a Clone - First PC to Second PC. Your Advice & Information would be most appreciated, on this lovely Xmas day. Cheers, Owen Carlton

    cloning sata ssd to m.2 nvme

    Hi so i'm planning on building a new pc and my main storage drive on it will be an m.2 nvme and i want to clone my current pc's main sata ssd with my windows install on it to the new pc, I already know how to clone sata ssd to m.2 nvme and keep all my old files and keep windows but i'm wondering if there will be any hardware problems since my new pc will have a completely different motherboard, cpu and gpu, if there is any hardware problems is there anyway to get around it? or would i just have to install windows by itself on the new m.2 nvme and then afterward copy all the files except windows from the old ssd
