    Is there a setting to tell Windows to not annoy me with ANY sounds AT ALL when the computer is locked?The other day a guy in India woke me up with his typing me a message in Teams. That made me very upset!I know Microsoft often doesn't do things well Hello Windows Media Player lots of true duplicate files sitting on my automatic playlist, but this is another one of many of their oversights.Any tips are greatly appreciated. PS Please don't give me pointless tips such as to update drivers, reboot the computer, etc. This is the intended behavior by Microsoft, so I want to find out if they als

    To assist you better please provide us more information.


    • What is the make and model of the phone?

    • When you say ‘’cannot find how to set text message alert sounds’’ are you referring to setup a particular sound/alert for the message or there is no sound alert at all when you received the message?
    I also like to inform you that, you cannot setup a different alert sound except the inbuilt sound alert. If you refer to setting up your choice sound alert, I suggest you to provide your valuable suggestion and feedback using feedback app.

    Sorry We cant play this file on your phone

    We suggest that you change your ringtone or alert. Follow the steps below:

    • In the App list, tap Settings > Ringtones + sounds.
    • Tap the type of ringtone or alert you want to change and then choose the sound you want to use.

    Let us know the results.

    Is there a setting to tell Windows to not play any sounds/alerts with the computer locked?

    WM6 with Win Live mobile. Mail alerts set no sound. Sound plays in config setup.

    I have upgraded my 8525 with the new Windows Mobile 6 ROM from HTC. I have configured Windows Live Mail to sync every 15 minutes with my hotmail inbox. I receive new mail fine but I do not get a alert sound. Sound is enabled and turned up. I have my phone
    configured to sound an alert on every form of new mail in the list. I can press the play button within the config GUI and it plays the selected sound as it should. Still no aler sound with new live mail. I hope someone has a fix for this. Anyone?
