Windows 10: Is there a software problem in Windows 11 with printers?

I have my printer-Canon LBP6000- connected and its driver installed correctly in Windows 11 but when it comes to printing a file, it shows "communication error" which indicates that my printer is off or not connected while it is on and connected. At the same time, when I test it with another device running Windows 10 it prints very well. It might be helpful to point out that before updating my windows 11 to the latest build, the printer used to work but after updating, this happened.

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to update the drivers for printer and check.

  Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate and expand Print queue.
  
• 
  Right-click on the printer driver
  that is listed and click Update driver software.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to run the printer troubleshooter from
“Fix printer problems”
and then check if this fixes the issue.

I suggest you to run print troubleshooter. The built-in Printer Troubleshooter can automatically detect and fix most of the incorrect settings and errors that could cause issues while printing. I would suggest you to run this
troubleshooter to check if there is any issue with the sound. Refer top these steps:

• Click on Troubleshooting and select the
  view all option on the left pane.
  
• Click on Printer troubleshooter and follow the online instructions.

Also update the printer drivers.

  Press Windows + X key on the keyboard.
  
• 
  Click on device manager.
  
• 
  Right-click your Printer devices.
  
• 
  Click Update Driver Software and then follow the steps in the wizard that appears.

  Restart the computer and check.
