Windows 10: Is there a solution for Phone Link not displaying audio player?

Since the last update? Phone Link doesn't display the audio player when my phone is playing music. I tried repairing and resetting the app, reconnecting my device, and even tried using multiple audio players. None of these helped, the desktop app still doesn't display the player, the on/off button effectively does nothing.

Looking for Audio Player Recommendations

I recently got a new audio setup and have been playing all of my ripped CDs (in WAV format) using Windows Media Player. I'm not pleased with it, to be honest. Here's why:

• It always starts on the exact same song
• The current song isn't very easily displayed. There's only one line in small text that shows song information, switching between Artist name, song title, Album name I think. I'd like it in a bit larger text, but at least for the song title & artist to stay there.
• I would love for it to display the lyrics, if that's possible. Windows Media Player, does not.

Otherwise, it does the job for me. I'm just wondering if there's anything better. Not sure if I need an Equilizer or not.

Here's my audio setup:

• Receiver: Yamaha RX-V383
• Speakers: KEF Q100s (pair)

Install all pending updates on the system, restart and check the status of the issue. Further, I suggest you to try the below methods and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Method 1: Run the Audio Troubleshooter on the system

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter

Method 2: Refer the link and perform the troubleshooting steps suggested.

Fix connections to Bluetooth audio devices and wireless displays.

No audio device is installed (How to fix?)

Since you uninstalled the Intel Display audio and you no longer have audio, that suggests you are using HDMI (??) If this is the case then the Realtek is not being used and not causing your problem.

First step as mentioned is to reinstall the Intel Display Audio.
