Windows 10: Is there a solution? mouse menu pops up, sticky mouse

Mouse menu pops up, sticky mouse. Is there a solution?Windows 10 updated version. I've tried everything to solve this problem but nothing works. I did call MS twice about the issue, but the auto-answer at the same MS phone number will not allow me to speak to a tech. The two previous instances were on 7/21/24 and 7/23/24, MS Ticket #7046713024 and #7046715868. It seems every company is refusing to take customer calls, including MS. Today I tried to by a new Dell PC to solve this stupid mouse issue, but I could not make my Xfinity email stay open long enough to do business. They say it automati

  What is the make and model of the Sticky mouse?
  

I suggest you to check with your manufacturer web site and download the driver latest drivers and install.

If you couldn’t find the latest driver, I suggest you to install the old driver in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

mouse is not working right


unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.

Why is my mouse on my laptop sticky sometimes?
