Windows 10: Is there a way around this problem? My admin account on my PC uses my locked Microsoft...

My main account was locked for "violating terms" a while back. 2 attempts and no luck getting it back (dead account that I only used to set up windows 10 and Skype. Everything on that account was legit). I really don't need the whole sit down talk "you must've done something wrong". I can assure you this account is legit and followed the guidelines.

Its my admin account on my laptop still. I can't switch the admin account to a working Microsoft account because I'd have to do that through the locked account online which I obviously can't do.

Is there a way to change my admin account to a new email? As in switch the current admin Microsoft account to my new one

How would I go about doing this? I feel weird using my laptop for everything on a locked Microsoft account. My laptop recently got a issue where it rebooted and when logging back on it said "something happened and your pin isn't available" and I nearly had a heart attack. Luckily it somehow let me log back in by typing the locked admin accounts password. I don't want to be locked out of my laptop one day for some odd reason again and not be allowed back in.

Do I need to backup all of my stuff and reset my laptop to then set it up with my new working Microsoft account?

This whole situation is beyond irritating.

Also I have some real cruel old friend I used Skype to talk with. Is it possible they all could've mass reported my account to get it locked? I've tried posting this on the Microsoft reddit but it automatically assumes my post is asking for assistance to get a locked account back.

Locked Out of Admin Account

Hello Linda,



Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

1. Are you using a Microsoft account or a local account?
   
2. Which version of Windows 10 you are using currently?
   
3. Is the other user account an admin account?
   

I suggest you to try using the on screen keyboard at the login page and check if you are able to login to the PC.

1. At the login screen click on the
   ease of access icon at the bottom right hand corner.
   
2. Click on the on screen keyboard to open it.
   
3. Type the password and try to login.
   

If you are using a Microsoft account, I suggest you to refer the article on

how to reset your Microsoft account password.



However, if you are using a local account, then I suggest you to refer the article on

reset your Windows 10 local account password.



Note: While performing these steps, there might be a risk of data loss. You may take a backup of the data before performing the steps.

Admin account locked

My admin account is locked don,t know how to unlock but have a standard user to login please suggest can I do something from normal user to unlock the admin account.
