Windows 10: Is there a way for the devs to add a mod system just like the steam version of Trailmakers?

The mod selection In the Steam version allows you to add mods in-game, and the Xbox version on PC does not do this. I don't know how to manually install mods without support, so this would be a great addition to the next update.

It is a long shot but while you suspect it is a firewall-related issue, please refer to this link to guide you on how you can enable access through the firewall

If this does not work, I suggest reinstalling the game and mods again, I'm not much of a gamer right now but back then when I used to play games and install mods sometimes I get these issues too so the best solution was to reinstall everything step by step, before that I make sure to uninstall everything and delete all files related to the games or mods.

Note some mods need a basic version of mods to function, it is like an update to the mods so to speak

That type of mods are you trying to apply to Subnotica and are you using the Store version of that game?

If you are using qmod or something like that, they do not work with the Microsoft Store version of that game, they only work with the Steam or Epic Store versions.
