Windows 10: Is there a way I can access files on my secondary boot drive?

    Is there a way I can access files on my secondary boot drive?


    I have 2 hard drives installed with windows 11, but when I boot into one I'm not able view any of the files on the other drive through File Explorer for some reason.-God Bless

    Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

    Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

    Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

    Is there a way I can access files on my secondary boot drive?

    XP Boot HDD taken from Failed MB - Get Files?

    Only way to get the files was to boot directly from the HDD & log into my account in safe mode. Copied all the files I needed to a folder under root, including "My Documents", which was not accessible when the drive was plugged in as a secondary.
