Windows 10: Is there a way of seeing which programs have been given admin privileges?

  1. Is there a way of seeing which programs have been given admin privileges?


    After my hard drive failed a tech guy set my PC back up and he must've used an activator because I found "KMSautoS" in my files. I've deleted it but I'm afraid that it still has some sort of admin access/permissions. Is there a way to see a list of programs and .exes that have admin privileges?

    How to give admin privileges to a program

    Hi Bob,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    You'll get this prompt if you have do not have admin privileges. You can remove this by following methods.

    Method 1:

    • Login with an admin account and right click on the game file.
    • Click on properties and click on compatibility.
    • At the bottom of the new window that pops up, uncheck the option

    • Click Apply and OK to save changes.

    Method 2:

    • Login with an admin account and right click on the game file.
    • Select Properties and click Security.
    • Click on Edit the select the user you would like to allow to use the program.
    • Place a check mark on Full Control under “Allow” in “Permissions for”.
    • Click Apply and OK.
