Is there a way that does not require phone verification to transfer data?

My phone's screen is faulty, sometimes not responding and sometimes scrolling things/tapping on itself. I tried to link my phone to my PC to get the data out but it requires verification on my phone Which I am unable to use because of the unresponsive screen. Is there a way that does not require phone verification to transfer data?

Outlook & Gmail requires two-step verification

I'm running Win 10 Pro on an HP notebook with Office 365. I use Outlook to send and receive email from my gmail and yahoo email accounts. Today I noticed that Outlook couldn't access gmail. I can access gmail with my browser and android phone no problem. I contacted Microsoft Support and the first rep fixed the problem by generating an app password and two-step verification. I removed the two-step verification, and the problem reoccured. I contacted Microsoft Support again and the rep could not get Outlook to send and receive gmail unless two-step verifciation was active. The two-step verification is a pain in the ass. I'd like to find a way to continue using Outlook for gmail, but I don't want the hassle of two-step verifcation. I think Microsoft and Google ought to fix this issue. I don't think you should need a smart phone to use Outlook. Does anyone know of a solution that doesn't require two-step verification?

Outlook & Gmail requires two-step verification

Yes, I can access gmail through a browser or android phone no problem. I'm using the MS Office application Outlook on my desktop and notebook to access, and manage all my email accounts. The Outlook application is what I primarily use. Now, it appears that using Outlook to access gmail requires two step verification. That's a big PITA such that the gmail accounts need to be terminated. I've been using gmail as my primary email since about 2009. There's been a lot of big tech changes since then. I'm now looking for a new primary email provider. I'm leaning towards ProtonMail. I started a free ProtonMail account, which is browser or smart phone app accessible, back in November, but I'm seriously considering the paid premium ProtonMail account, because you can use the PC Outlook application to access and manage the emails. I think Microsoft and Google should be able to work something out so that two-step verification isn't required when using Outlook to access gmail. - - - Updated - - -
When I contacted Office 365 support the first time, the rep used my Google account to generate the application passwords for Outlook to access gmail. He had to enable two-step verification to do so. After that when I opened Outlook to access email, I was required to perform the two-step verification. I then went into my Google account to disable two-step verification, and that action also disabled Outlook's ability to access the gmail. So, Outlook can't access gmail without two-step verification. Microsoft Support acknowledged it and doesn't have a solution other than learning to live with two-step verification everytime you open Outlook. Two-step verification doesn't make my system more secure. I've already got to login to windows to get to the desktop. I would think the application generated password would be sufficient since it's for a specific application.
