I believe that since Microsoft can make a program "remembers" the last monitor it opens in, there must be a way.Note: In my case, I'm looking for a way to start Microsoft Edge in a specific monitor.Regards

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.

Microsoft Edge on Extended Desktop Monitor

When I start Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 it always starts on my Monitor 1. I can drag it over to the extended desktop on Monitor 2 quite easily but I expect it to start on that monitor the next time I launch it (without having changed monitors or settings
of course). Other programs do behave this way. Is there a setting I'm missing to get Microsoft edge to start on my extended desktop monitor?

 

Windows 10: Launch apps on the extended screen directly

I understand that you want to launch apps on the extended screen.

Please be informed that you cannot launch apps on the extended screen directly, however as a workaround you may follow the below steps and check.

1. Open the app and drag it to the extended screen(monitor).

2. Now close the application/window by simultaneously pressing Ctrl button on the keyboard and the "X"(close) button on the window,

3. When you open the window or application again, it will launch in the extended screen.

Note: If you restart the computer, you have to perform the above steps again.
