  1. Is there a way to change the taskbar and start menu positions separately ?

Hi, I really prefer the new centered taskbar in Windows 11, but the start menu being in the center and taking half the screen is really bothering to me. I'd like it better if it appeared on the left, as if I put the taskbar to the left in the settings, while keeping the centered taskbar.I'm wondering if there are separate registry keys for the taskbar and start menu positions ?

    :)

  2. Start menu position

Click Start > Settings > Personalization > Taskbar

Click in the Taskbar location on screen, choose whether you want it on the Left, Top or right.

This will let you open the Start menu from a different position.

In the same window, click the Start tab and you can choose from different ways to customize how to the Start menu looks and behaves.

Is there a way to change the taskbar and start menu positions separately ?

    Start Menu and Taskbar customization

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone have recommendations on how to customize the start menu and taskbar for a deployment image? I've tried customizing the start menu and taskbar, then exporting the configuration into a XML, but the start menu appears in two columns when I want it half way along with the taskbar settings not sticking.

    Any suggestions will be great!

  10. Tile Position on Start Menu

    in Windows 10 Customization
Tile Position on Start Menu: I have two systems running Windows 10. On one system, I can move any of the tiles from one position to any other position in the start menu simply by drag'n'drop within the menu.
