Windows 10: Is there a way to change the triggers for MRU lists?

I use the Recent Folders list in Explorer a lot but it doesn't add folders until I've done the right thing to trigger Windows to add the folder to the list. Is there any way to change the triggers? I've checked all the settings, but is there a programming way to do it?

How to increase the search query MRU list?

I've used both Everything and Agent Ransack before, but I am an Explorer guy, I don't want to use third party apps.

I wonder how to change that number of MRU in Windows itself because my desktop PC shows no more than four, while my notebook shows more than that, about eight or nine. Since both have the same Windows version, I guess there is a setting somewhere in the system to modify how many to show in the list.

After trying to create this trigger:

CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER a
AFTER INSERT OF duration, startdate ON route, outing
FOR EACH ROW
WHEN (NEW.startdate LIKE %jan%)
AND (NEW.duration = 5)
DECLARE
closed_in_jan EXCEPTION;

EXCEPTION
WHEN closed_in_jan THEN
RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR (-20101,We are closed in January.');



I get this error:

ORA-04073 column list not valid for this trigger type
Cause
A column list was specified for a non-update trigger type.

Action
Remove the column list.


I've tried researching but can't find out what a column list is!
