Windows 10: Is there a way to completly get rid of Quick Start

So far Windows 10 is the worst OS Windows has released and one feature is annoying to all hell. Quick start seems like a good idea but it only has been causing problems. Everytime I click shut down the computer doesn't shut down. Same thing happens even after a restart. The state is being saved when I don't want the computer to. I have even disabled quick start in the power options and yet Windows 10 still does quick start. Is there a way to gut quick start from the OS so when I click shut down the computer actually does what shut down is meant to do and turn the computer off not just sleep?


Windows needs to actually make it where if you click disable it actually disables.

Remove items from Quick access.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Right click on the file or folder.
• Select the option “unpin from the quick access”

To pin items to an item already on the quick access bar.

Follow the below steps.

I would suggest you to create folder in the desktop screen & place all the files or folder which need to pin to the quick access.

• Open the quick access.
• Select the Desktop option.
• Right click on the folder & select the option “pin to quick access”
