How do I crop images at the middle with Photos app?

Yes, I know, but the thing is that I only want to have one app/program for opening pictures and what I was thinking was to remove Paint in the future since it is older and according to what I read it may be removed in the Fall Creators Update but since I can't crop images the way I want I might be able to not remove it if it isn't removed in the next version.

Well, I tried again but to no avail.

    Thank you for the information.

To help us isolate this further, kindly provide us the following information.

    • What changes have you made prior to this issue?
    • To which program are you exactly using the crop tool? Photos App or Office 2016?
    • You mentioned crop tool is not working properly when Photos App is used. Have you tried to close it, and check if the issue persists?
