    Is there a way to customize the reminder times in the live calendar?

    Well, I did just get something to sync from my phone with the google calendar. I just had to select the initial calendar that I set up. Weird, and less than optimal.

    Is there a way to customize the reminder times in the live calendar?

    The options for setting reminders from the phone itself are quite limited unfortunately, but it will respect reminder times set by an outside force. In this case, the best thing to do is to set the reminder from Google or Outlook.com or Outlook itself
    if you use that and sync a Microsoft account.

    Is there a way to customize keyboards?

    I've never used it but have a look at AutoHotKey - let's you remap keyboard keys, buttons on your mouse and more. It also has its own forum if you need help.
