Windows 10: Is there a way to disable shortcuts for turning on/off touchpad?

I have a problem. I have 10 ASUS E410M Laptops that are used my kindergartners. They seem to accidentally turn off the touchpad on a daily basis. It's infuriating. SURELY there is a way to disable any shortcuts to turn of the touchpad? SURELY there is a way to lock the touchpad as enabled.I know how to disable and enable the touchpad. I just want to stop having to do so every, single, day.Please tell me there is a way to make touchpad just STAY ON AT ALL TIMES.

Thanks for trying I downloaded driver for touchpad, followed the steps you listed but it did not solve the problem - When I get to the last tab for the software, there is no checkbox for "disable touchpad if mouse is attached." I can completely disable the
touchpad by system, and you, advised against this so at least I had the warning not to completely disable touchpad. I have tried the other options suggested but to no avail. Frustrating!

Touchpad is usually disabled and re-enabled by pressing the Fn and either
F3 or F9 keys, but that depends on the laptop that you have. Each brand have its own shortcut keys. However, you can disable the touchpad from the Settings page. Follow these steps:

1. Open Settings > Devices.
2. In the left pane, click Touchpad.
3. To completely disable the touchpad, toggle off Touchpad.
4. If you only want to disable the touchpad when an external mouse is connected, check the box for
   Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected option.
