Windows 10: Is there a way to disable 'the end of support for windows speech recognition' pop up window?

I do not want to lose windows speech recognition, even if I have to go back to windows 10. But my question is: Is there a way to disable 'the end of support for windows speech recognition' pop up window? Every time when I restart windows, it comes up.

I would suggest you to follow the steps to see Advance speech options.

• Press Windows+X key on the keyboard
• Click on control panel
• Select speech recognition
• On the left hand pane you will see Advance speech option

speech recognition on Windows XP?

Is there a way to get some sort of speech recognition software for XP? I saw an article on Microsoft on how to get it to work, but it says I have to download the Windows Speech Engine or something like that and it's not available to download.

My grandma likes the idea of talking to her computer lol. She wants to dictate her stories because she has a hard time typing for a long time because she's got arthritis and all that.

fwiw I just tried it- my locale, speech, display language etc are set to UK English. (Which took some doing this time, or something was slightly messed up).

If I type speech in Cortana's search box, say, I get Windows Speech Recognition as top search.

I use Classic Shell, with the Control Panel expanded, so in a second or less I can see 'Speech Recognition' listed there.

Similarly, if I type 'Speech' in Settings I can easily see Speech Recognition.

SpeechRuntime.exe in C:\Windows\System32\Speech_OneCore\Common ..........

sapisvr.exe in C:\Windows\Speech\Common
