Windows 10: Is there a way to enlarge the tiles of my purchased shows in the Movies & TV app?...

On my Dell Inspiron 7558 with a 15.6" full HD screen, I would like six tiles of movies and TV shows I've purchased in each row. The Movies & TV app used to show eight per row, but now it shows seven with a lot of white space to the right of the screen. I've been told here on Microsoft Answers this may be due to a limitation in the app. If I can't do this, I would love to have this small but very helpful ability to tell the app to enlarge the tiles so I can be sure when I touch my 15.6" full HD screen that I select the correct movie or TV show. It would also be great if I could group what I've purchased by genre as how the Store app categorizes each particular movie and TV show. I don't know why the latter isn't a feature as of September 5, 2018. Lastly, I expect to receive reliability and performance improvements to the Windows 10 Movies & TV app when I install the Windows 10 October 2018 update next month.


Right after I post this question here, I'll use the Feedback Hub app to suggest Microsoft create an easy way to tell the app to display larger tiles for every movie and TV show I've purchased. Believe me, they're not large enough for me right now. They may be for you and everyone by, but definitely not me!

Movies and TV app Problem

These 2 steps resolved my disappearing Movies & TV tile problem. Before using this fix, tapping on the Movies & TV app tile would cause it to vanish without loading the program. Thanks for your help.

 

Movies & TV app not working properly.

Hi,

I suggest you to un-install and re-install Movies & TV App and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key.
• Type Windows Powershell.
• Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
• Type in the following command to un-install Movies & TV App.

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

Note: The Movies & TV App can be reinstalled using the Store App or by following the link mentioned below. You will need to exit the Store app if it is already open before reinstalling the app.
