Is there a way to figure out if some driver of mine is at fault?

    Hey guys,

Lately I've been having BSODs and after extensive troubleshooting, I ended up reinstalling Windows from scratch. We stress tested every piece of hardware in my computer and everything came out fine. Using Windows' driver verifier, we were able to find something wrong but no DMP file was generated.

I reinstalled Windows and started playing a game as usual (Risk Of Rain 2). So far there were no BSODs but it did crash. It was very frequent before the OS reinstallation and the devs weren't able to help just yet.

I have a crash log that I would like to share with you guys, that might help someone point me in the direction of the faulty piece of hardware? During the BSODs investigation, it seemed to be related to the GPU, failing on a 1E bugcheck on nvlddmkm.sys.

Here's the crash log from my game:

    Code:
I also attached the files in this .zip: Crash_2020-08-26_105634343.zip

I'm on Windows 1909, my rig is specified in my profile Is there a way to figure out if some driver of mine is at fault? :)

    Any help would be great!

    :)

    Laptop driver/reformat question

This is excellent advice. Writing down the list of installed devices prior to re-formatting will save you a lot of heartache. With that list, you won't have to try to figure out exactly which wireless card or web cam driver you need since there will likely be several to choose from.

  3. Is there a way to undo a driver rollback?

To resolve your concern with the mouse not working appropriately, here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try:

Method 1: Roll back to the older driver.

    • Press Windows Key + X then select Device Manager
      from the list.
    • Locate your mouse or touchpad and double-click to open the Properties option.
    • Go to the Driver tab and click the Roll Back Driver button. Click
      OK.
Method 2: Change the mouse double click speed in the Control Panel.

    • Type Control Panel in the Search bar and hit
      Enter.
    • Locate and click Mouse to change the mouse settings.
    • Locate the Double-click speed option and change it by moving the slider.
    • After you’re done, click Apply and OK to save changes and check if the issue is fixed.
Let us know how it goes after performing the suggested steps.

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused Is there a way to figure out if some driver of mine is at fault?
