  1. Is there a way to find out your product key without cmd prompt or regedit?

Hello, I put a new user profile on my computer for the kids to play on and I was trying to secure things so they couldn't mess my computer up and I did something to screw it up myself. I can still use the computer but a lot of my windows programs wont work. It comes back with an error saying it cannot find the environment. I am just going to do a fresh install and I was just wondering if there was a way to find my product key on windows 11 pro without cmd prompt or regedit. I saw a video last night that worked but I didn't write down my key and now for the life of me I cannot find this video.A

Also, I have a couple of old keys from my computers in the closet, I know both of them have been updated from the sticker product key. Is there a place I can type these keys in and see what version of windows I need to download to use them?

Thank you in advance for the help.

    Hello,

There is still a way to search for your product key. Kindly follow the steps below for you to know your product key:

    • Press Windows key + X
    • Click Command Prompt (admin)
    • Enter the following command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
    • Then hit Enter
The product key will be revealed, copy the product key then enter it.
