    Is there a way to fix all of these problems without a Factory Reset?


    Hi. I am having multiple windows errors with my laptop that are making it harder to use.The first is Driver_power_state_failure, which I have tried fixing by reinstalling the drivers. It stopped the problem temporarily and I haven't tried fixing it again. The second problem is a program error appearing saying 'The system could not find the environment option that was entered'. It's made Killer Network and Xbox Game bar stop working entirely and Xbox game bar, snipper tool, not even launching. I haven't found any resources on how to fix this for Windows 11, and am not suer where to start. I h

    This is also a FIX for the ERROR: There was a problem resetting your PC.
    This fix is only for Legit Authorized Copies of Windows 7, 8, or 10.


    Hey all, I upgraded to Win10 from Win8.1 when it was released for free upgrades in 2015. It is now 2016 and I wanted to Factory Reset my PC so I can start fresh again. I attempted to do it from Settings/Update and Security/Recovery/Reset this PC as suggested by Microsoft but I received and error saying "There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made." After searching the web I found many different fixes but they all seems so involved. Making a boot flash drive or burning a DVD and use their software... There is an awesome tutorial on this forum called Windows 10 Clean Install but I like to KISS when I can (Keep It Simple Stupid) so I decided to check with Microsoft.com before I started that process.


    THE SIMPLE FIX I FOUND THAT WORKED FOR ME:
    Go to: Windows 10
    Click the "Upgrade Now" button.
    Follow the prompts and you're good to go.
    Works with Windows 7, 8 and 10. Simple enough for me Is there a way to fix all of these problems without a Factory Reset? :)

    I wasn't able to find this simple suggestion when searching the web so I felt I should post it in hopes it helps someone too Is there a way to fix all of these problems without a Factory Reset? :)

    Hi everyone, I was asked to factory reset an Asus laptop and install a win 7 on it, while starting to install the win 7 I got stuck with the "no device drivers were found", searched for some tutorial on YouTube, found this vid: , followed the command codes step by step on MS-DOS : ( Diskpart >>> list disk >>> select disk 0 >>>> Clean >>>> create partition primary >>>> format fs=ntfs quick) and now I completely lost the disk 0 with all system files, no hard drive showing as a boot option in the BIOS. Am I screwed ? Is there a way to create or reactivate the internal HDD ?? Thank you in advance for your help

    Factory Reset

    Hello,

    Factory reset may fix the problems. But I suggest you to make clean install instead, which gives more surety of fixing problems.
