Windows 10: Is there a way to fix my view in Microsoft Outlook new?

I have the new Outlook app and the classic says I need to pay for a subscription to use it. Currently my view settings has a little more than 50% of my screen dedicated to folder and inbox panes, and the reading pane is as a result so small I need to have a side scroller in order to view everything. The preview for messages and folder pane can each afford to shrink to at least 50% so that my email, the thing I'm actually trying to view, can be seen in full. Emails are sort of the star of the show on the Outlook app, I can't imagine this is the preferred/ideal setup? These are as small as they
