Is there a way to 'force' applications be launched entirely within screen?

Probably there is no solution for the below, I ask it nonetheless. When launching applications, e.g. Excel, when launched a 2nd time - i.e. Excel running twice - then I always have to shift-drag the application in order to have the application displayed entirely. Windowed display, i.e. not full-screen.In most cases the application is launched partly off-screen: the scrollbar and the status bar are off screen, so I have to drag the application a bit to the middle.I use a 27" screen - Windows version 10 x64.Are there any settings that control this behaviour? Thanks!

    :)

  2. Record entire screen using Game Bar

Hello everyone, my challenge is how to make the game (screen) recorder to capture whatever/everything/anything that is being done on my screen. So far I have observed that the Win+G function only captures what is being done only on
the active window when the function was launched.

For instance, when screenshotting, there are two basic ways namely:

    • Screenshot of active window only = Alt + PrtScr
    • Screenshot of entire screen = PrtScr
I'm looking for the screen video recording equivalent of these two commands (if such exist). Does anyone know a command that will allow a user to record video of the entire screen, or do I have to rely on a third-party application to
    do that?

  3. WD Mybook Application won't launch

    Hi James,

Problem launching the WD MyBook application could be due to incompatibility or could be caused by a software conflict. Since you've already reached out to WD support, we would like to know the following to help us isolate and address the problem:

    • Were there any changes made or updates performed before the issue started?
    • What were the troubleshooting steps have you tried to far?
    • Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the WD MyBook application?

In the meantime, please try to disable the firewall and antivirus software on your computer. Once done, launch the WD application again and see if it works.

    Update us with the result.

    Regards.

Is there a way to 'force' applications be launched entirely within screen?

Open an application on the same screen from which it is launched

Hi, I just got windows 10 and I think the idea to put a copy of the taskbar on everyone of my 3 screens is great. However whenever I launch a program windows starts it (presumably) on the screen where it was last closed. Is there any way to launch an application on the same screen that it was selected? To clarify if I click on my MS Word button pinned to the task bar on screen 2 can I get MS Word to launch on screen 2 regardless of where it was closed last.

Thanks in advance for your help.
