Windows 10: Is there a way to have different magnification values on multiple monitor setups?

Hi. I'm a visually impaired Windows user and I was wondering if there was a way of having magnifier work on a "per-monitor" basis i,e. having my main display zoomed in while a second display is not zoomed in. I am a Music Producer/DJ and I've seen other mix engineers and Music Producers have their main monitor displaying their main arrangement view, plugins etc. while a second monitor is being used for a spectrum analyzer in Full screen mode see picture below for reference. i.e. The middle monitor for my main production endeavours, while the right monitor shows all my analysers for mixing

Stutter on multiple monitor setup with different refresh rates.

It's been years since Windows 10 released and Microsoft still has not addressed this issue that plagues multiple monitor setups with different refresh rates.

For those not aware of the issue, Windows 10 forces vsync on all monitors if any application needs hardware acceleration/graphics and also runs on windowed mode/borderless fullscreen. Which means my 144hz monitor will constantly switch to 60hz and show noticeable
stutter/lag, making it a frustrating experience. Running games on fullscreen seems to be the only way to bypass this issue, but it defeats the purpose of having a multiple monitor setup if I can't seamlessly switch monitors, and alt+tab can make some games
crash.

Will I really have to downgrade to Windows 7/8.1 to get this basic Windows OS feature back.

Is there a way to have different power settings for multi-monitor setups? I currently running 2 28-in 4k monitors using dislay ports and a phantom 3rd HDMI monitor for Digital Sound to a Dolby Atmos Sound Bar. I don't want the HDMI stream to turn-off with the other monitors when playing background music. I have been unable to find any method of doing it using online searches. Is there a way to do it or is it the case where a windows power management update is necessary. Switching to between PCM/HDMI seems to be the only option that works but disrupts any background audio streams. Suggestions?

Unfortunately, running two monitors with different refresh rates in duplicate mode may cause some issues. Duplicate mode essentially mirrors the exact same image on both screens. Since the refresh rates differ between your monitors, Windows will default to the lowest common refresh rate to ensure compatibility, which in your case is 120Hz.

To run programs or games at 144Hz on your internal monitor while duplicating the display on your external monitor, you may need to utilize third-party software that can manage this kind of setup, but it may still lead to graphical issues or performance anomalies.

Here are some steps you can try:

1. Set Primary Display:
   
   • Right-click on the desktop and select “Display Settings.”
     
   • Scroll down to “Multiple displays” and select “Duplicate these displays” from the dropdown menu.
     
   • Choose the monitor you wish to set as your main display and check the box that says “Make this my main display.”
     
2. NVIDIA Control Panel (if you have an NVIDIA GPU):
   
   • Open the NVIDIA Control Panel by right-clicking on your desktop and selecting it from the dropdown menu.
     
   • Go to “3D Settings” > “Manage 3D settings.”
     
   • Under the “Global Settings” tab, find the “Preferred refresh rate” option and set it to “Highest available.”
     

Please note that these steps may not fully resolve the issue due to the inherent limitations of running duplicate displays with different refresh rates. It’s generally recommended to use monitors with the same refresh rate for the best performance.
