Is there a way to keep a structured format when alt-tabbing ?

Hello. I'm hoping theres a way to make it so that when I press alt+tab , the list of programs that pops up stays single file in a format that doesnt change. I cant seem to change the name to my game clients so that I can easily recognize which client is which when alt tabbing between them, so an alternative I'm hoping is to make it easy to identify each program when I alt tab by knowing their position in the line of programs that pops up. Also if anyone knows how to change my programs names or add a nickname to them that would help. Right clicking on taskbar and going in properties and chang

This play exactly the same as fullscreen but now you dont have to wait 30 f*@!ing seconds to alt+tab back in!

Also you don't get the little purple/black checkered effect (only in Source games) from alt+tabbing in fullscreen.

  3. Unknown task when switching with Alt+Tab

    Hi, John,

Unfortunately, monitoring the task manager for a long period of time is not feasible for me, as the computer is a tool with which I need to accomplish the tasks of my job. I would say the same about learning about all processes in the task list.

If I were to size up the options, my view is that Windows lacks the tools with which to practically track down the mystery item on the Alt+Tab list, with no identifying details. It seems to me that Windows 10 has been designed to work well only with the new format of the Alt+Tab list. No consideration has been given to its impact on the old formatting of the Alt+Tab list.
