Windows 10: Is there a way to keep XBox icon from reappearing in taskbar whenever booting computer?

I have tried taskbar settings to turn this off and looked in the XBox settings, all to no avail. I can remove the icon from the taskbar, but it will reappear whenever computer is restarted. Is there not some way to prevent this? Running Win 10 on a new MSI laptop. This doesn't happen on my old Surface Book.Thanks.G

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

That could mean there was a change detected which needed to be handled by all your active tasks.

That suggests that the current focus was most likely on the Desktop (e.g. assuming you have a lot of icons on your Desktop). Please try to be sure that Narrator gets focus on things that you are interested
in. Again, it may be necessary to practise using the tools before you actually need to try to understand something that is less clear.

taskbar icons disappear and then reappear

Pressing win+control+shift+b seems to make the taskbar icons reappear, but I won't be able to check what happens with games or narrator until I get home at about 4:45 today but is there a way to completely prevent this from happening or will I always have
to just use that shortcut? I think we're getting somewhere, though
