    Is there a way to make account pictures square and/or transparent?


    Is there a mod or something out there (or a registry edit maybe?) that will make the profile pictures for accounts square instead of circular, and use a transparent background? I have a custom image I'd like to use, but it gets rendered with a black background and parts get cut off by the circle.

    Agreed. Edge for a tablet is a massive step back, it's just a normal browser. I've switched to Chrome since takes up less screen space than Edge, has gestures and extensions. Shame really, W8 modern I.E. was fantastic for a tablet.

    If you like, you could use the tutorial below to set to use the old sign in screen to at least have the square account pictures back.

    Doesn't work for me on Windows 10 Pro RTM... tried rebooting, still see the circle icons.
