Windows 10: Is there a way to make an app remeber its location on screen when it was last opened?

Hi, my doubt is that is there any way to make an app, say NOTEPAD, remember its location on the screen where it was last opened. I have tried many ways but whenever I open notepad, it always opens in a new position on the screen. Please help! Also to mention that, before the new NOTEPAD Update with tabs, it opened on the same position where it was last opened.

Open file location is missing in pinned apps

Yes. This is the one. Weirdly it now shows all the recent files after update. Maybe that has something to do with it. I did not do anything at all.

Have Start screen open with “All Apps” list already opened?

Version 1607 Build 14393.105 does that, click Start and the full Apps list is scrollable.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
