Windows 10: Is there a way to make the pointer appear as different sizes on a two-monitor display?

I have a separate external monitor connected to my laptop, but from where I'm sitting, the pointer is too small on my laptop screen. Is there a way to seamlessly change pointer sizes when moving between two connected displays?

Hi,

Open PC settings.

Step 2: Choose Ease of Access to enter its settings.

Step 3:Click Mouse, and choose new pointer size and color in the options.

Way 2: Change Mouse Pointer size and color in Mouse Properties.

Step 1: Click the lower-right Start button, type mouse in the search box and select Mouse in the results to open Mouse Properties.

Step 2: Tap Pointers, click down arrow, choose a scheme from the list and select OK.

Dual monitors with different DPI (different resolution but same physical size)

Hi,

I have dual monitor setup. Two monitors are the same size, but very different in resolution. To be precise, display 1 is 1440x900 (100% scale) and display 2 is 2880x1800 retina (200% scale). So they are the same size, but first display is twice as high in
DPI as the second one.

Because of that, when I move my mouse pointer from display 1 to display 2, it's "stuck" on the edge until I move it to the bottom (depends on the layout).

Ability to change the "scale" of every individual monitor on the layout (without affecting it's resolution or element/font size) solves the problem:





Is there any other way to solve it? If no, can this feature be added to Windows 10?

Hi D, I'm Graeme, an independent adviser here to help.

It's possible your screen refresh rate can be changed to fix the size issue. I'll give you the steps to change it:

- Click Start and type "advanced display"

- Choose "View advanced display info"

- Click Advanced Display Settings in the window that appears

- Click Display adapter properties for Display 1

- In the window that appears, click the Monitor tab

- Change the refresh rate to other values until the size is fixed.
