  1. Is there a way to place comments on folders without using shortcuts

I can't figure out how to place comments on my folders without needing to make shortcuts. But then if I make shortcuts there really no need for the main folders. So I was wondering if there is a way to add comments to folders like video folders. I'm running windows 10 home.

    :)

  2. Is there any way to get the original icons to display again after the shortcuts are moved into a folder?

    Hi,

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

Please be informed, the view of files, folders, shortcuts etc. will be set to small icons by default, due to which you will not be able to see the shortcut's icon.

I suggest you to follow these steps:

    • Click on View
      menu in the menu bar.

    • Select either of these options
medium, large or extra-large icons and you will be able to see the icon of the shortcut.

In future, if you have any issues related to Windows, do get back to us. We will be happy to assist you.

Is there a way to create a folder shortcut?

    Hi oofie

As i know that is not possible to do a shortcut to a folder but you can do the following:

    - make shortcut to important applications to your standby

    - move the "apps folder " you created to the middle of the phone Menu so it will be just 2 steps to get in it
